WHAT IS REIKI?
Reiki is a Japanese energy healing treatment for the mind, body and spirit; it is not a religion. The word Reiki, “Rei” means higher knowledge, and “Ki” means life force energy. This energy is channeled through the practitioner to the client through light touch. This stimulates the body’s natural healing abilities to improve emotional and physical health, promote relaxation, and help to reduce stress.
WHAT IS ESOTERIC HEALING?
Esoteric Healing is an energy medicine modality based on the writings of Alice Bailey and the Tibetan Djwhal Khul. This modality concerns the relationship between ones soul and personality. According to EH, all disease is rooted in some type of blocked or inhibited soul life. Therefore, healing consists of allowing the energy from ones soul to flow freely into the body without any restriction.
WHAT IS DISTANCE REIKI?
Distance Reiki works the same as an in-person Reiki session except that the person receiving Reiki is not in the same room. Reiki is channeled energy, so it is the practitioner’s intent to send the energy to the client, and that person’s willingness to receive it. Reiki can also be sent to situations, goals, events, relationships, etc. The possibilities are endless.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO A SESSION?
The sessions are done fully clothed while you are covered by a comfortable blanket and lying down on a massage table. I suggest you wear anything that you feel comfortable lying down in.
CAN A SESSION HELP REDUCE MY STRESS?
Yes! An energy session is a great way to reduce stress that is creating energy blocks within your body; which can be leading to or creating illness. You might also be given clarity on something that has been bothering you or feel lighter about a trauma that has impacted your life.
CAN I LEARN REIKI?
Yes. Anyone can learn Reiki and become attuned to the energy. Contact me if you are interested or have any questions.
